School Safety Committee
The primary purpose of this committee is to foster a safe and supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially while promoting a sense of trust and security within the community. The committee will not have the authority to draft new or modify existing D113 Board Policies or Procedures.
Proposed Implementation Schedule
January 28, 2025
Committee purpose, selection criteria and application process will be presented to the School Board and shared with the community.
February 10, 2025
The Candidate Application window will open.
February 21, 2025
The Candidate Application window will close.
February 28, 2025
Notify committee members of the first meeting date, time, and location.
March 19, 2025
First Safety Committee Meeting at District 113 Administration Building.
May 7, 2025
Second Safety Committee Meeting
