Postsecondary Counseling

Parents and students can find loads of CCRC information on our Schoology page.

Parents, when you log into Schoology, click on your name in the upper right corner, then select your student's name. Next, click on "Courses" to view all the courses your student is enrolled in, including the CCRC. To access CCRC resources, select the CCRC course and click on "Materials."

Students and parents can also view the calendar of rep visits on the CCRC Schoology page. Check back regularly as reps continue to sign up for visits! Students can sign up for rep visits in Maia > Events > Visits > Actions > Attend.

College representative visits for Juniors and Seniors will take place from August 25 through November 14.

Students can view the visit schedule and register to attend through MaiaLearning. All visits will be held during the school day in the College and Career Resource Center (CCRC).

If you will miss class to attend a visit, you must obtain permission from your teacher at least 24 hours in advance.

Passes are available in the CCRC or you can print a copy.

How to Access and Register in MaiaLearning

1. Go to MaiaLearning
2. Click “Sign in with Google”
3. Select your DHS Gmail account if prompted
4. From your Dashboard:
   1. To view visits: Click “Events” in the left-hand menu, then select “Visits.”
   2. To register: Click “Actions” to the right of the college name, then choose “Attend.”

Students and parents can also access the full calendar of rep visits on the CCRC Schoology page. New visits are added frequently, so check back often between August and November!

The Deerfield High School College and Career Resource Center (CCRC) looks forward to welcoming you to our campus this fall. All college representative visits for the 2025–2026 school year will be scheduled through MaiaLearning.

Visits will take place between August 25 and November 14, and are open to juniors and seniors only. Please note that sophomores and freshmen will not be included at this time. We kindly ask that all communications about your visit be directed toward junior and senior students.

Scheduling Your Visit

• Use your existing MaiaLearning account or create a new one.
• When selecting a time slot, please ensure that the Central Standard Time (CST) schedule aligns with your calendar if you're located in a different time zone.

As in past years, we will be hosting in-person visits only—virtual visits will not be offered.

Arrival & Parking Information

You may park in the visitor parking spots by the main entrance. Please give yourself ample time to park and check-in with security at the front desk with your photo ID. You will then be directed to the CCRC.  One of our postsecondary counselors (Traci Flowers or Kim Magee) will do their best to briefly meet with you for institution updates.

Military visits are typically scheduled during student lunch periods and are intended to inform students about service opportunities and career paths. To help us effectively promote your visit, we kindly request at least two weeks’ advance notice.

Scheduling Your Visit

Military representatives are welcome to visit once per semester, for a total of two visits per school year.

All visits must be coordinated through the CCRC in advance.
