Warrior Hockey

Better Men Through the Game of Hockey Warriors hockey is the destination for all high school age Deerfield students. Hockey Director Will Dodge is dedicated to developing hockey players as well as shaping young men. From on ice training to dry land and even community service, our players are learning the essentials to a winning strategy from the kick off of Warrior Week in August to the final playoff game.

Eligibility

• All students attending Deerfield High School are eligible to try out for DHS Hockey teams.
• Incoming freshmen may also participate in spring league programs during their final year of junior high.
• Other students may be eligible to join regular or spring league teams under special circumstances determined by the Board.

Program Goals

The Deerfield Warriors Hockey program is dedicated to transforming students into resilient, principled adults. Warriors cultivate essential life skills such as teamwork, seizing every moment, unwavering determination, and the importance of a strong work ethic. They also learn the valuable lessons of sportsmanship, gracefully embracing both victory and defeat.
