Student Council

Student Council is an organization centered around leadership and community service. Student Council organizes Mental Health Awareness Week, Morenz BBQ (annual BBQ dedicated to former Social Studies teacher Paul Morenz), Dec-DHS (decorating for Homecoming), and many other events and initiatives. Student Council's largest initiative is School Chest, an annual three week fundraiser for a student-selected charity. This charity drive encompasses a variety of events that are all led by Student Council members such as the annual 5K walk/run, benefit, and food sales! To be a part of Student Council you must submit an application that comes out in the Spring.
