Stage Crew

Stage Crew is a collaborative, hands-on group responsible for the technical aspects of every production. Crew members work in both small and large teams to support all areas of technical theater, gaining experience and training in multiple roles.

Responsibilities include:

• Building, painting and moving sets
• Hanging, focusing and operating lights
• Acquiring or creating props
• Setting up and running sound

During pre-show and performance periods, the Crew is led by student leaders whose roles are assigned at the start of each production’s build process. Head positions are available to students who have:

• Worked on at least two full productions
• Completed at least one semester of Technical Theatre
• Or demonstrated reliability and creativity through active participation and regular attendance

Stage Crew is a great way to be part of the theater community, build technical skills and contribute to the magic behind the scenes.
