Spanish Honor Society

The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, aims to foster interest in Spanish language studies, promote academic excellence, recognize high achievement, and encourage appreciation of Hispanic culture and international friendship.

Juniors and seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement in Spanish are eligible for induction. At the January Induction Ceremony, students showcase their talents through singing, dancing, playing instruments, reciting poetry or performing skits—while others may contribute through service-based efforts like charity drives.
