Hebrew Honor Society
Club Overview
Hebrew Honor Society, nationally recognized by the Consortium for the Teaching of Hebrew Language at Brandeis University, encourages interest in the study of Hebrew, promotes higher standards of scholarship, and recognizes high school academic achievement. Additionally, it promotes enthusiasm for Israel and Israeli culture. Through its activities, our Society recognizes the high level of Hebrew language learning in our school and promotes the study of the Hebrew language.
Student membership eligibility requirements include:
- Current enrollment in Hebrew III or Hebrew III Honors.
- A cumulative semester grade point average of B or higher in all Hebrew courses.
- Active engagement in all projects and activities planned and executed by the Hebrew Honor Society.
- A demonstrated commitment to community service through volunteering, leadership, and other positive contributions.
