DHS-TV

DHS-TV is the club for filmmakers and video journalists. Come learn how to write, direct, shoot and edit videos in our film and TV studio. We offer a wide range of professional gear to support your filmmaking journey: students will film with 4K and 1080p camcorders, cinema cameras and studio cameras. We have multiple editing stations equipped with Apple Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere.

Our TV control room features a 4K live switcher and a professional audio mixing board. In the field and in the studio, students use shotgun boom and lavalier microphones, along with portable lighting kits. In addition to individual projects, the club also supports our award-winning, schoolwide news broadcasts, including anchor tapings and show editing.
