DASA

The Deerfield Aerospace Association (DASA) is a student organization dedicated to model rocketry and the operation of radio-controlled airplanes and drones. Members engage in the construction and flight of model rockets, aircrafts and drones while exploring the principles of aeronautics. With the recent acquisition of a professional-grade drone, the club also documents outdoor school events through aerial photography and videography. Toward the end of the academic year, a field trip is scheduled to participate in a launch event hosted by the National Association of Rocketry, alongside both amateur and professional enthusiasts. This organization offers an enriching experience for students interested in model construction or aviation in a relaxed and supportive environment.
