Dance Company

Dance Company is a performing group at Deerfield High School. Freshmen through senior students who are interested in all types of dance can take part and develop technical skills, increase knowledge of techinque, choreography and production aspects of a dance performance. Dance Company performs in an annual spring dance concert, which includes student choreographed work, as well as professional guest choreographers. Dancers also have had the opportunity to work with guest artists in master classes and workshops in-house and through travel opportunities to Los Angeles and New York pre-pandemic. 

Upon making Dance Company, members will enroll for the following year in the co-curricular dance class (Dance Company Class) during the academic day for PE and Fine Arts credits. If you are interested in expanding your technical and creative skills, as well as performing, the DHS Dance Company is for you!

Auditionees DO NOT need to come with anything prepared, and there is no paperwork needed.
