As part of our scheduled grounds maintenance at Deerfield High School, I am providing advance notice of lawn and landscape treatment services scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026.
These services will be performed by our licensed vendor, Lawn Squad, and are intended to support the health and long-term condition of Deerfield’s campus grounds as we move into the fall season.
Scope of Services:
- Broadleaf weed control
- Surface insect and targeted turf weed treatment
- Landscape bed weed control and fall pre-emergent treatment
- Early-fall turf fertilization
Safety and Compliance:
All applications will be performed by certified professionals in accordance with applicable Illinois regulations, manufacturer label instructions, and state-mandated Integrated Pest Management practices.
Lawn Squad will place visible treatment flags at campus entrances and throughout all treated areas. These flags will include applicable re-entry instructions and will remain in place for the required period. Access to treated areas will be restricted as necessary to protect students, staff, and visitors.
