Dr. Kathryn Anderson is proud to be in her ninth year as Principal of Deerfield High School. Under her leadership, DHS was named a National Blue Ribbon School and she was recognized as the Illinois Principal Association’s 2023 Principal of the Year for Lake County. A former science teacher and experienced administrator, she brings a strong focus on instruction, student success and inclusive school culture. She holds degrees from Concordia University, DePaul University and the American College of Education.
