The Academic Resource Center is available to help all DHS students be better learners. All students are invited to use the ARC and its resources to get on the right path towards academic success. The Academic Resource Center offers:
Help is available from instructional aides and volunteer student tutors. Please know that there may not always be a tutor present for every subject during every time of the day as the schedule is dependent upon tutor availability.

Peer to Peer Tutoring
Peer-to-Peer tutoring is an academic intervention program available to all Deerfield High School students. It is designed to support the classroom teacher in developing students’ study habits, organizational skills, and personal accountability toward school work. Volunteer tutors who are recommended by teachers and who have attended tutor training work with referred students on a one-to-one basis two periods a week.
