Biology is a laboratory-oriented course that presents a basic knowledge of life through the development of six themes: interdependence of life, matter and energy in living things, cellular structure and function, molecular genetics, patterns of inheritance, and biological evolution. A variety of organisms are studied in the lab to develop an understanding of these themes.
