Dear Warrior Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the chilliest spring season in recent memory. I’ve shivered in the stands along-side you as we kept hoping the rain would stop, the venues would dry out, and the tempera-tures begin to approximate more of a springtime in Chicago average. I’ve noticed the squish-ing sound the athletes’ shoes make as they enter the building after a competition and watched ducks swimming like an armada across the back forty. Fortunately, our daily life on the campus marches forward and we are happily in the midst of the fourth quarter. We have a final theatrical series, multiple musical performances, and myriad end of the year activities including prom and commencement just around the corner. The tulips may be slow to bloom, but badminton is advancing four athletes to state finals while other sports are enter-ing the end of their regular season play.... more
